The Senator's Wife

Imagine having to suffer in your room while your husband is out galivanting around as if you are not holed up and trying to recover from hip replacement surgery. If it wasn’t for my lupus, I would be out there with him back in the political limelight enjoying all of the glam, secrets, affairs and mishaps, like everyone else. He gets to go to all of the White House dinners without me. This was supposed to be a better time for us since we both lost our spouses a few years ago from a tragic chain of events. What's worse is he hired this caretaker, Athena, who thinks she knows everything. This little twit is not going to be here long if I have anything to say about it. I know she thinks she is helping but honestly, I don’t need any help. I am sure I can manage just fine. Although, things have been pretty foggy lately. Especially after Athena brings me my tea. What if she is putting something in it? What if she wants me to stay sick? Have I been too focused on her being annoying rather than conniving? Oh no!

If you love a good psychological thriller book, then you must read “The Senator’s Wife” By Liv Constantine. Don’t let the theme of politics throw you off, as this story is way more involved with lies, deception and thinking you know people better than you do!
