How to Make Your Own SVG

Have you ever heard of Canva?

If not, you need to get on it ASAP! Canva is a graphic design website that allows you to create endless content for free or an affordable price. This app is a game changer in so many ways but today I will show you how to use it to make your own SVGs. It is so simple!

First things first, create an account here if you don't already have one. Then click the "Create a design" button in the top right hand corner.

I like to choose the instagram post (square option) You can alway resize the image later if you need to.

Once selected you will have opened a canvas to create on. This is where you put your design that you want to create into an SVG. This could be made on canva, a screenshot from your computer etc. ( I can show you how to create a design in a video here!)

Once you create your design, be sure to give it a name as shown below

Now the important part is how you save this creation. Click the share button at the top right hand corner as shown below

Then click the download button

Then choose the file type by clicking and selecting SVG as shown below

Once selected, be sure to click the "Transparent background option.

Then you can select download and save it to your device.
